Roots of the Rivalry - Timbers | Sounders

In 1975, Don Cox was reading in the local newspaper about Portland's new professional soccer team, the Timbers. Knowing nothing of the sport but interested enough to support his city and community, he bought a ticket. Little did he know that not only would that first match spark a forty year fanaticism, but it would also lay the groundwork for arguably the biggest soccer rivalry in North America...as well as establishing Soccer City, USA.

"Roots of the Rivalry", which was shot/produced/directed back in April with the help and support of many a great folk including author/narrator Michael Orr.
